Gorilla Expedition


DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Arrival at Entebbe Airport, meet our company representative, transfer to your place of accommodation. Depending on the time of arrival, you may have a tour around and maybe change some money to Ugandan currency for easy shopping. Check in for dinner and overnight at Windsor Lake Victoria hotel OR J-Courts.



DAY 02: ENTEBBE - BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
Early morning pick up from your place of accommodation, head for Bwindi Impenetrable forest with stopover at the Equator, shop for some souvenirs and have lunch enroute in Mbarara then head for Bwindi passing through the evergreen vegetation and rolling hills of Kabale commonly known as the little "Switzerland of Uganda". Arrive this evening in preparation Gorilla trekking the next day. Check in for dinner and overnight at Lake Kitandara Luxury Camp.DAY 03: BWINDI
After an early morning breakfast, we go for briefing with our packed lunch, and then embark on the long awaited adventure of a lifetime with the Gorillas in the impenetrable forest. The jungle being unpredictable, its difficult to estimate how long you may hike, however, the excursion takes about 3 - 8hours. Encountering and viewing of the Gorillas takes a maximum of an hour (one hour), which is a conservation rule we must abide by without fail. Check in for dinner and over night for dinner at Lake Kitandara Luxury camp



DAY 04: BWINDI TO LAKE BUNYONYI
After an early breakfast, you will then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, passing through the evergreen vegetation and rolling hills of Kabale commonly known as the little "Switzerland of Uganda". This is such a beautiful lake that is normally breath taking for most of the clients after the hectic Gorilla trekking. Arrive late morning in time for lunch. After lunch, we explore the lake in dugout canoes, you may opt to relax or swim to cool off the fatigue. Check in for dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Overland camp.


DAY 05: LAKE BUNYONYI - ENTEBBE
After breakfast, we transfer to Entebbe with stopovers in various places of interest like the drum village, have lunch enroute. Arrive in Entebbe this evening for dinner and overnight at Windsor Lake Victoria hotel or Imperial Resort Beach Entebbe.
DAY 06: DEPARTURE
If your flight departs late, you may go for a tour around Entebbe, shop for souvenirs. Our company representative will see you off at the airport and wish a safe journey.
We have two types of Safaris, Some opt for Luxury Safari (lodges / hotels) and others opt for Budget Safaris (camping and simple accommodation).

The cost of the above safari is:
Luxury $1300 per person
Budget $850 per person
The prices Include: Gorilla permit fees, all ground transportation in 4WD Vehicle with guaranteed window seat, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), Accommodation, driver/guide, bottled water while on safari.
The prices Exclude: Items of personal effects, bar bills, tips, personal insurance, air charters and laundry.
NOTE: Gorilla permits costs US $ 375 each. They must be booked at least 3 months in advance.
